I’ve already mentioned Anna’s feelings of being ignored, so I thought I might share a few of the boys’ colloquialisms - just for posterity. I certainly don’t want to forget them.

Our littlest munchkin, Bear (as we call him), has his own little baby words for various things. Eek-eek is a generic term for everything from ‘cracker’, to ‘eat’, to ‘more’. This morning was a bit kinder to us in the form of cooler weather. I think the high today is supposed to be 89! After 95+ weather this past week, that’s a blessing!

Barrett is only 19 months old. Two weeks ago, we had Vacation Bible School at our church, and one of the songs we sang was, “I’m in the Lord’s Army.” Here is Barrett’s version…note, when he pinches his chest, he is trying to make wings and “fly o’er the enemy.”

Because of our busy schedule this week (VBS, packing, taking Heather to the airport, more VBS, and lots of playing with the neighbor girl), I’ve been having the kids take naps all week. I have them get their blankets, and curl up on our bed with me to help them calm down.
