Hi. I am Heather. Wife to Mr. Handsome, and mother to 3 precious little ones ages 6,4, and 1. I love the Lord, seek to serve him and believe in the fundamental doctrines of the Scriptures. My husband is a youth pastor and I work with the young ladies in our church. But primarily, I’m a mom. Yup, that’s it. I enjoy what I do. I tell people I have a ‘crummy’ life. ‘Crummy’ NOT meaning ‘bad’, just involving lots and lots of, well, crumbs. I spend most of my day wiping them, sweeping them, brushing them, trying to eliminate them, all the while knowing I’ll be dealing with a fresh batch the next day. They seem to spring up from nowhere. I suppose with 3 children we can all guess where they come from, but I like to think of all those crumbs like my manna from heaven. Heavens, no. I don’t eat them off the floor, but my 1 yr.-old does and seems to think they taste great. I don’t feel like arguing with him and it’s helps with the cleanup so I can’t complain.
We homeschool our two oldest, love it, plan on doing it until they all retire from the workplace at age 60 and can’t imagine doing anything different. Just kidding on the retirement part. We’ll let them go earlier than that. Although right now, we are like hogs in mud and having the time of our life. That mud part seems strangely appropos.
